low milk supply

what is the fastest way to increase milk supply? aside for getting pregnant, waiting nine monthsand giving birth? i’ve already had the baby. but she isn’tgetting enough milk or isn’t getting full when i feed her. many women who are breastfeeding rememberto take vitamins and eat healthfully. what they forget is that they need to drink anextra liter or two a day to provide milk for the baby. i can try getting hydrated. what else wouldwork? some babies use the mother’s nipple as anatural pacifier. wait longer between feeding

also express yourself to increase production. uh, how? by wearing more tie-dyed shirts? no, no, i mean expressing milk and squirtingit out when not feeding the baby. if your body expresses more, it will make more. and how on earth do i do that? uh, milk yourself in the shower to get moreproduction. or get a breast pump and express the milk the baby doesn’t drink. i don’t want to give her that milk froma bottle. then she won’t nurse. donate the excess milk to a milk bank if youdon’t want to throw it out.

what about taking herbs to increase milk supply? that’s a dicey proposition. and any herbsyou take end up in your breast milk.
